Freedom frightens the children

The more mature you think you are
The more childish you act to be
When they thing they're grown up
Owners of themselves
They just end up to be
Restless childs
So lost, so uncertain and insecure
They look for a comfortable place to rest theyr souls into
Although they think life is too short and they must take a part of it
Quantity is more than quality
'Cause diversity will show their strenghth and their manhood
But in the depths of them all
They are all searching for the safety of a womb, a shelter
Someone to be protective and care for
Then they face with someone that are so careless and free as they are
They get frightened and enchanted all the same
A reckless misterious phoenix that surges out of nowhere
Takes their lives
Give her love
Eventhough she knows they're not ready for such amount of feelings
But what can she do
Is part of her nature
To rise and burn
Over and over
It does not scare her
But her multiple maskes
Shows not the love and caring serious person that she knows she is
Her masks shows the reckless, careless, hedonistic side of someone who doesn't even know who she is
However the little strong phoenix is so sure of
Who She is
what she does
And what she wants
And besides all that
She
Is herself
A loving
Caring
Responsible
Free bird
Just searching for the other half
